Another winery in Les Baux de Provence is Mas Sainte Berthe.

The Louis David offering is a decent wine, and one of the better values we have found. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, and Syrah. Although the winery does not disclose the proportions of those grapes, it is obvious from the wine’s nose and taste that Grenache, not Cabernet, is the primary content. Although the Mas Sainte Berthe Louis David is not a wine to write home about, it is a solid wine for everyday drinking.

Mas Sainte Berthe is a lower scale winery than Mas de la Dame, and the prices of its wines reflect that fact. The Louis David offering is their most expensive wine, at 9.50 Euros. They also have a red table wine for 6.50 Euros, and a white wine that is well worth its 7.50 Euro price.
